Summer Library Programming Assistant at the Bill Memorial Library
The Bill Memorial Library seeks a temporary, part-time summer programming assistant.
Responsibilities of the position include: helping to publicize, prepare, present and clean up library programs; helping patrons with the summer reading program; assisting with collection maintenance and displays; and performing other duties as requested or assigned.
The work schedule is from mid-June through mid-August, and hours range from 6 to 11 hours a week, with the possibility of extra hours to fill in for other staff absences. Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays (10am-3 pm). $15.00 per hour; no benefits.
Requirements: high school diploma with experience or willingness to work with children, teens, and adults. Must be able to learn routine library procedures, follow oral and written instructions, and communicate clearly and courteously with co-workers and the public.
