“Sourdough does not have to be complicated or intimidating,” says library
staff member Mary Howard, who will teach the class. “Think about our pioneer ancestors. They
didn’t have refrigerators, gas ranges or banneton baskets, but they made sourdough bread.”
Attendees will leave with hands-on experience, a sourdough starter and some simple recipes.
